The Women’s Foundation of Colorado Vail Valley Regional Committee hosted author and journalist Helen Thorpe as the keynote speaker for its annual luncheon. This year’s luncheon theme was “A Place At The Table: Challenges & Opportunities of Women in the Military and at Home.”
The Vail Breast Cancer Awareness Group supports all those in Eagle County in who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The group also supports the Shaw Regional Cancer as well as the Sonnenalp Breast Diagnostic Centers.

EAGLE YOGAFEST: COME. SHINE. SOAR.
The Eagle YogaFest introduces yoga and mindfulness to individuals and groups, helping them create positive life experiences. This year the festival benefited UB.U that ncorporates yoga-based movement and practice to Eagle County students.

BEAVER CREEK CHEF RACE
Beaver Creek’s Food and Wine event not only celebrates the culinary experience but ads an element of excitement with the Celebrity Chef Race. The crowds watch as celebrity chefs and Beaver Creek favorites raise money for their favorite charities on the Beaver Creek Epic Mix Race Course. There are eight ski racing teams consisting of four people each. This years event is on January 22nd through the 25th.

MAN OF THE CLIFF BENEFITTING FIRST DESCENTS
The Sixth Annual Man of the Cliff, an event comprised of outdoor, rugged activities to
fit all strength and abilities was held at Nottingham Park in Avon. All funds raised benefited First Descents.
